A new round of funding for the Maesgwyn Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund will be open on Monday the 5th of September and closes at 5 pm on Friday the 14th of October 2022.
Eligible organisations such as constituted voluntary / community groups, local charities & not for profit organisations and schools (restrictions apply) may apply for grants of between £500 and £15,000 for projects generating a genuine, long term community benefit under the following headings: 1. Recreation 2. Education 3. Health 4. Environment 5. Culture 6. Local Economy

As a community, and particularly the organisations within it, we have access to a number of community funding sources. These are:
- Selar Community Fund
- Aberpergwm Community Fund
- Maesgwyn Community Fund
- Pen y Cymoedd Community Fund
Organisations can also apply to the Town Council for a Section 137 grant with the purpose of assisting them with activities that benefit the community.
